Your money, on your terms.
another.money is a personal-finance app that keeps your data yours. Track accounts, budgets, and spending with a fast, precise ledger — on the web today, on iOS and Android soon.
It's a faithful, modern rebuild of anMoney, the well-loved Android app that was discontinued in 2014 — same trustworthy data model and ledger behaviour, brought to every device with a clean UI.
Why another.money
- Local-first. Your book lives on your device, in an encrypted file. No
account to create, nothing uploaded just to use the app.
- Private by design. Everything is protected by your password; optional
multi-device sharing is end-to-end encrypted — the sync relay never sees your numbers.
- Exact money. Balances are computed with integer math, not floating point,
so the cents always add up — across multiple currencies, using each transaction's own date for conversion.
- Real bookkeeping. Accounts, categories, payees, splits, transfers,
reconciliation, recurring transactions, budgets, and reports — the full double-entry-style ledger, not a toy.
- Bring your history. Import from QIF, OFX, CSV, and MT940; export and back
up to a single JSON file you control.
Try it
The web app is in alpha — open it in any modern browser and create a book in seconds. iOS and Android builds are on the way.
⚠️ Alpha warning — your data can be lost. While we're still shaping the app, the underlying data model can change between updates, and such a change may require resetting your book — wiping everything in it. Don't keep anything you can't afford to lose here yet. Export a backup often (a single JSON file you control) — it's your best safety net, though during alpha we can't promise every backup will restore cleanly across a breaking change.
