Extra-spending budget

Editor for two special budget buckets that don't have a category to hang off of:

• Transfer — budget for moves between your own accounts. Most

people leave this at None; it's useful if you want to enforce a monthly savings transfer.

• Other (per classification) — when you've enabled

classifications in Book Settings, each classification carries its own catch-all budget for transactions that aren't tagged.

Period

Same chip row as the per-category editor:

• None — no budget; the bucket is invisible on the Budget tab.
• Monthly — single amount applied to every month.
• Yearly — single amount applied to the calendar year.
• Per month — twelve-slot grid for season-aware budgets.

Amount

Shown in Monthly and Yearly modes — one figure with the calculator field.

Monthly amounts (conditional, Per month only)

A grid of twelve calculator fields labelled Jan – Dec in your locale. Empty fields are zero.

Tips

• The header label tells you which bucket you're editing ("Transfer"

vs. the classification name from Book Settings).

• These buckets surface on the Budget tab below the per-category

envelopes once a non-None period is picked.
