Export to CSV

Write a flat CSV of every transaction in the chosen window. Splits are flattened (one row per leg), and the columns are sized to open directly in Excel / Numbers / Google Sheets.

Window

Pick All time to dump everything, or one of the preset ranges (This year, Last 12 months, CUSTOM) to scope the export down. CUSTOM reveals the date-pair picker below.

Account scope

Leave All accounts selected to include every row, or tap the chip to limit the export to one account.

What's in the file

  • One row per transaction or split leg
  • Columns: date, account, payee, category, classification,

classification 2, amount (signed), notes, status, FITID

  • Header row matches the column names above

What's NOT in the file

Backups (the full DB snapshot) round-trip; CSV doesn't. Things lost on CSV: account types, reconciliation matches, recurring template attachments, reports, settings. Use the Backup tab for migration.
