Notifications

The bell's full list for this book: what needs you now, what is coming up, and the reminders that already went out. Opening the screen marks the history as read; the items that need attention stay until you deal with them.

Needs attention

  • Overdue plans — a planned entry whose date has passed. Enter it (or accept it as planned) or skip this occurrence right on the card; tap the card to open the editor with the plan's values filled in.
  • Follow-ups due — transactions you flagged for follow-up whose date has come. Open shows the transaction, Done clears the flag.

These are the same items the tab badges count, so the two always agree.

Upcoming

Plans scheduled in the coming days, each with the moment its reminder will fire ("reminds tomorrow 09:00") or a note that it enters automatically. On the web the app can't remind you while it is closed, so this list is where you see what is next.

Earlier

Reminders and automatic entries that already happened, newest first. This history is kept on this device only and is trimmed after a while.

Header icons

  • Mark all read — clears the unread count on the bell.
  • Notification settings — which reminders you get, the default lead time and quiet hours.
