Accounts
Every cash, credit, asset, and liability account in this book — grouped by type, with running balances kept up to date by every transaction write.
Overview card
The collapsible Overview card at the top of the list is the book's at-a-glance layer. Every row is a drill-down:
- Net worth — the book total (per currency), with the projected window-end figure underneath on single-currency books. Tap for the Net worth over time report.
- Budget left — whole-book remaining for the current planning window plus the pace verdict (On track / Spending faster than planned / Over budget) — the same numbers the Budget tab's hero shows. Tap to open Budget.
- Next 7 days — count and net of upcoming planned entries, overdue included. Tap to open Plan.
- Needs attention — overdue plans + overdue follow-ups; only shown when something actually needs you. Tap for Notifications.
Tap the card's header to collapse it to a single line; the choice sticks.
Header icons
- Search — filter accounts by name.
- New account — open the new-account form.
- Reorder — drag accounts into a custom order; the default is type-then-creation-time.
Sort chips
The chip row above the list controls grouping + ordering:
- Type · banks first — bank accounts at top, then cash, credit, assets, liabilities.
- Type · cash first — cash and bank swapped.
- Name — alphabetical, ignoring type.
- Insertion — order in which you created the accounts.
- Manual — custom order from the Reorder screen.
Counter pills
Under the total at the top, the counter pills show how many rows are pending (amber) and unaccepted (grey). Tap a pill to scroll the list to the first row of that status — quicker than scanning.
Sections
Account rows are grouped by their class (Asset / Liability / Equity) with a per-section subtotal. The grand total at the bottom sums every non-closed account into the book's base currency at today's rates.
Subtotals and the book total are tappable: a section subtotal opens the Account balances report, the book total opens Net worth over time. The little attention pills on an account row drill too — follow-up counts open that account's flagged transactions, budget counts open the Budget tab, plan counts open Plan, and the reconcile tick count opens the account's reconcile session.
Tips
- The left edge of each row is tinted with the account's accent colour (set on the account edit screen via long-press).
- Closed accounts collapse into a separate "Closed" group at the bottom. Toggle the Show closed chip to reveal / hide them.
- The number shown beside each account follows that account's displayed total setting (Entered / Reconciled / Cleared / Projected / Available credit).
