Report
The drill-down view for a single report. Whatever you pick on the Reports list lands here with the saved settings applied.
Header icons
- Favourite — star this report so it pins to the top of the Reports list across all books.
- Settings — open the criteria panel (date range, accounts, categories, group-by). Changes preview immediately.
- Reset — discard your in-session edits and restore the report's saved settings. Only enabled when something has changed.
- Print — open a printable view (web only for now).
- CSV — export the current data table to CSV.
- Delete — only on customised / Personal reports.
Chip strips
- Date range — This month, Last 3 months, Year to date, Custom, etc. The Custom mode reveals a date-pair picker below the chips. The picker's Quick tab also offers Timeline window — one tap aligns the report with the timeline strip's current window.
- Amount (conditional) — on transaction-level reports (Spending by category / payee, Transactions, P&L, Spending over time): keep only rows Over, Under, or Between an amount. Sign is ignored — pair it with the Show chip (Income / Expenses) for direction. Drill-downs carry the band into the Transactions list.
- Group by — the pivot axis. Available values come from the report's seeded mask (e.g. category-based reports won't offer Account; cash flow doesn't offer Group by at all).
- View — Table / Bar / Area / Waterfall / Sankey, where each is supported by the report. Reshapes the same data without re-running it. Spending by category over time adds a Heatmap view — a category × month grid where darker cells mean more spent.
- Include (conditional) — Budget / Recurring toggles on reports that can project unbooked figures into the future. Net worth shows both; the Transactions list shows just Recurring; other reports suppress it.
Saving changes
- Save — writes your in-session edits onto the same report row.
- Save as — clones the current settings into a new report in your Personal section.
Tips
- Tap any chart segment to select it — a summary appears near the chart with actions like View transactions to drill into the underlying data. Tap again to deselect.
- The Net worth report has a forecasting region past today (recurring + budget projections) rendered with a dim overlay so you can see where the projection starts.
