Everything that doesn't fit on the main tab bar — book-level settings, managers for currencies / payees / categories, plus import / export / backup tools.

Cloud sync chip (conditional)

Shown at the very top when Cloud connection is enabled. Connected · sync now button when signed in, or Connect Google Drive when not. Status (last synced, errors) lives on the Backup screen.

Books

Switch or delete a book — opens the book picker. Hidden when the Book switch feature flag is off.

Manage

  • Categories — the taxonomy you tag transactions with.
  • Payees — every party you've transacted with.
  • Currencies & exchange rates — historical FX table.
  • History — every change to your data, restorable.

Settings

  • Book settings — per-book formatting, work week,

classifications, password.

  • Backup & restore — snapshot / restore / cloud book

  • Import data — QIF / OFX / CSV / MT940 bank files.
  • Export to CSV — flat CSV of transactions for

spreadsheets.

  • About — version, build info, schema version.

Backup vs. Export

  • Backup writes the full book state — every table, every

row — to a single file that restores into a new install identically. Use this for moving books between devices.

  • Export to CSV writes only the transactions in a flat

file suitable for spreadsheets. Splits are flattened.

Tips

  • Encrypted books are marked with a lock icon in the picker;

you'll be prompted for the password on first open per session unless biometric unlock is enabled.

  • The header title is the active book's name — long-press it

to switch books from anywhere in the tab.
