The first screen, shown only until you have at least one book.

Two paths

• "I already use another.money" — sign in with Google. We look in

your Drive for any .db / .amdb files saved from another device and offer to import them. Books you import here keep their password.

• "I'm new here" — make a fresh book. Pick a name and base

currency; password is optional but recommended.

Try the demo

The try with sample data link skips the create form and seeds a ready-to-explore book (accounts, a year of transactions, budgets, reports). The demo book is named Demo — delete it from More → Switch or delete book whenever you're done.

Restore from a backup

If you have a .anmoney / .db / .amdb file from another device, Restore from backup file lands it as a new book without going through Google.

What happens to existing books

The welcome screen is hidden once a book exists. If you reach it again later (e.g. by deleting every book), the same buttons are available without losing anything else on the device.
